A Rare Find in a Historic District in the UES

You won’t believe your luck when you first walk through the door of this rare find on East 95th Street in Central Park West. My one-bedroom apartment oozes history in a classic, contemporary setting. Many of the souvenirs from my travels across Europe and the U.S. have been used in the décor, along with my collection of books. The result … I hope … is a stylish, exciting, sophisticated home that will make you feel like you are being treated like a VIP.

I was first attracted to this apartment because of all the windows and natural light. They help to make it a warm and welcoming place. I have added some heirloom furniture pieces along with new purchases to truly reflect my personal taste. I balanced the dark wood of some of the furniture with the light and breezy upholstered pieces. Art, posters, and vintage NYC subway map bring in splashes of color. So does the decorative area rug.

My apartment is located on E. 95th Street between Park Avenue and 5th Avenue…in my opinion, the best neighborhood in all of New York City. If you want to experience the upscale atmosphere of the city, Central Park West is the place to be. It is blocks away from high-end boutiques and designer department stores. And let’s talk about art! The Guggenheim Museum and the Neue Galerie New York are close as well.
