A Funky Far West Village Stay

My place is located in the Far West Village, only a block away from Hudson River Park. It is a fun home, and I spent a lot of time bringing together all my favorite things. Funky and eclectic is how I would describe it. There are colorful, fuzzy area rugs, British flag throw pillows, pop culture pieces, thrift store finds, hand-me-downs, and heirloom items. It is hip, homelike, and functional. People who have stayed here tell me they never what to leave.

I have a queen-size bed in my master bedroom. There is a large closet and dresser available for you to use. The bedroom has a 40-inch flat screen TV with Apple TV and all the streaming services so you can chillax in bed and watch your favorite Netflix series. The other bedroom is my home office. There is a large workspace you can use if you need to. The Ikea sofa folds down into a bed that is large enough for two people to share. My apartment is on the first floor, with a half floor walk up so there is a garden view from both bedrooms. You will even hear the birds singing in the morning.

The living room is the place to be. The comfortable section is positioned by the 55-inch television. I don’t have cable, but I have wifi and all the streaming services, like Hulu, Amazon Prime, and Netflix. I am a movie buff and have amassed a huge collection of DVDs. Feel free to watch whatever you like. I also have a stereo with a CD player and turntable that is hooked up to Bluetooth surround sound speakers. You can listen to my CDs or LPs or sync to your phone and play your own Spotify list.

The neighborhood I live in is in the best part of Manhattan. It is just one block away from the Hudson River Park which has fun piers, bike paths, and jogging trails. The nearby meat packing district has many awesome bars and cafes. You will also find cute little shops and boutiques. Two grocery stores are within walking distance.
